Nestling high in the rural North Pennines, this cosy cottage dating from 1640 absolutely oozes character and has stunning views. It is very well-equipped with a fully fitted kitchen and luxury en-suite bathrooms.

The nearby quaint town of Alston, the highest town in England has the South Tyneside Railway, Thortergill Forge and a variety of craft and antique shops as well as some superb restaurants.

Driving in any direction brings you dramatic and breathtaking views and scenery along Weardale, Allendale and Teesdale, How better could you spend a beautiful day than walking the Pennine Way or other less taxing pathways in the area.

ACCOMODATION
Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner, conservatory, separate toilet and basin. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with toilet and basin, 1 twin with en-suite shower, toilet and basin, sofa bed in lounge.

Electric central heating, woodburner (initial supply of fuel provided), all fuel and power paid by honesty box, bed linen and towels included in rent. Cot, highchair, washer/dryer, dishwasher, freezer, enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, TV, video/DVD player & GameCube, on street parking.

Fed up of sitting on the owners grandmother old sofa? So were we! This cottage has been custom designed to have everything you could need to have a lovely relaxing holiday. And as we have 4 young children the cottage is very child friendly as well as having that special luxurious ‘hotel bathroom’ character.

PRICES

£210 - £425 per week depending on season. £145 for a 3 night shortbreak. Includes all linen, towels, Welcome Tray, and starter basket of logs. But we always try to accommodate everyone so please just ask us for the dates you’d like and we’ll see what we can do.
