Welcome! Our comfortable, 3 bedroomed cottage is an ideal place for a holiday, with or without the family. It will sleep 5 people, is well-appointed and equipped and ideally placed to explore beautiful North Devon and beyond.
Prices are reasonable, ranging from £180 to £335 per week, including some gas & electricity, Bedlinen can be hired.(duvets) but we ask that you bring your own towels.
It is a non-smoking, pet-free zone. No hen or stag parties either!
About
the cottage
Although the cottage was built in the 19th century
the inside has been entirely replaced to present a modern, centrally heated house.
Downstairs accommodation consists of a porch leading into a large sitting room to the left, and a similar sized kitchen/dining room on the right. There is a door leading to a covered yard, suitable only for storage of beach equipment etc. The stairs lead from the kitchen.
Both rooms are light and spacious. The sitting room is comfortably furnished. The kitchen/diner is well equipped and has There is a sturdy dining table with chairs.
Upstairs there
is one double bedded room, one twin bedded room, and a single room. All have chest
of drawers or shelves, and there is hanging space for clothes in the single bedroom.
The bathroom has a bath with shower, hand
basin and toilet. There is an airing cupboard on the landing.

Appledore and surrounding area
Appledore is 1¼ hours from
the M5, and only two miles from the North Devon Link Road.
It is a delightfully unspoilt fishing village with old seamen's cottages and narrow winding streets dating back to the twelfth century, situated on the Torridge Estuary. There is a modern indoor swimming pool in Northam.
Nearby Northam Burrows, which is a nature reserve and golf course, is flanked by a mile-long excellent sandy beach, suitable for swimming and surfing. The seaside resort of Westward Ho! is 2 miles away, and the market town of Bideford is 3 miles away. Ships to Lundy Island sail from Bideford. Nearby Barnstaple is the bustling regional capital of North Devon. Both Barnstaple and Bideford have historic pannier markets.
Further field both Exmoor and Dartmoor are accessible within an hour, and the pretty coastal village of Clovelly, half an hour.
